The Bakken Gets Bigger - Likely A LOT Bigger | Seeking Alpha
This is a very good article about how the Three Forks area of the Bakken region holds as much or more oil than the Bakken itself. Continental Resources (CLR) and Crescent Point (CPG) are big players in this area. I already own Continental, and I am planning on buying CPG as well. Bakken and Three Forks oil will most likely result in big gains for the companies producing oil there. CLR and CPG will certainly beat S&P returns easily during the next two years even if the stock market never has a correction.
Moreover, Crescent Point has extremely low drilling costs. They will be making a lot of money. Now is the time to buy the company. They are already up nearly 20% for the year, and they have a dividend that is close to 6%. Legacy Oil (LEGPF) and Vermillion (VRML) also have stakes for the oil on the Canadian side. The author also mentioned other oil companies involved in Three Forks oil. This is definitely an article that should be read and bookmarked for growing oil companies while the general stock market will probably be mostly flat.
